7 months old today

Damien is now 7mths old. But he's still waking for night feeds........sigh
Wonder when he will stop doing that n give everyone more sleep. He was 8.8kg n 67cm as of last wed.
He can sit very well now but he still doesn't even move an inch when he is on his tummy. Even if I interest him in some toys he doesn't bother if he can't reach it.....sigh this boy hor.....
Very interestingly he had a near fall on Tue when he was sitting in the middle of our bed which means he did move.

What happened was I left him sitting on the bed playing with my hp while I made a quick dash to the bathroom. I even keep checking that he was on the bed n pulling my hp around. Who knows I sorta saw my dog from the corner of my eye n lookup n there he was stuck to the side of my bed. Hanging head down. I dun really know how he remained in that position n I dun wanna recall that scene. But I believe he must had held on to the bedsheet REAL TIGHT.(Or did his guardian angel hold on to him? I duno but I thank whatever made him hold on that day) It really scared the hell outa me. I was so shocked I even had to think if I should scream or run to him.

Luckily common sense won n I rushed to pick him up n cradled him for awhile before I put him back on the bed. I'm glad I didn't scream cos he doesn't seem affected by it.

I believe Teddy was the cause of the incident. Damien must have seen him appear from under the bed n walk toward me(in the bathroom). Which is why he sort of fell on his right side.

Damien's upper 2 teeth

Poor little Damien went for his last Hep B jab on the 18th n had virus fever that night. Went PD n it was 39 degrees. My poor darling so high fever so the pd bullet him n checked his pee to make sure its not UTI. PD actually stuck a plastic bag over his penis to collect the urine.
So after 2 n a half days of fever he had small little dots all over his body(fake measles) n I forgot to take pic to show him next time. Aiyah.......

He was so cranky I think due to the fever + the jab + his 2 upper teeth making its way down. So now my precious darling has 4 teeth!!.....hehehe

btw his 2 lower teeth showed themselves on the 14th day of Chinese New Year. Wat a great way to start off the new year.

Extensive Shopping

Actually planned to go shopping n free ice cream(Ben n Jerry) eating with Esther but who know yesterday she still went doc for fever jab how to go. So thinking that Damien has been confned at home yesterday n will be tml after his last Hep B jab I better bring him out today.

N so we spent the whole day shopping leisurly at Orchard. Since hubby not coming to fetch us today as he has RT n me need to settle my dinner alone. Walked whole day was so tired man but very fufilling cos I bought 1 skirt n 1 top at blood bros for $35....kekekekekeke Great buy right. Then bought a great invention for Damien. Some table mat that can hold his bowl so it will never topple or fall off the table. Great right....so happy machiam my toy again.....kekekekke

In the end we took the bus home at 8pm. N he was a bit cranky becos now he cannot be in the carrier for too long. Told mum I'm not going her place already n got the reply: "Since the bus stopping at my side u might as well come up for ur dinner then go back". Hello......my place is at the other side of the road leh which is not directly opp her place. N her place is not exactly at the bus stop which means I have to walk even further from my home. Finally went home at nearly 10pm. So tired n tml still need to wake early to bring Damien for his jab.

Now I find it a hassle to bring Damien out. BECOS I have to stop at every place for a few times becos HE IS TOO CUTE. All the sales girls n shoppers all keep touching him n holding his hand. What can I say. He's my son ma.......hahahha

First time at the playground

This is the first time mummy brought me to a playground. Mummy tried to find a swing but couldn't find any so she let me try the slide. N she say my face dun have any reaction. So she tried this ride instead. Kor kor Sebastian is holding me so mummy can take this nice picture for me.

BTW we actually have 2 swings at the playground right beside our block. Dunno why my mummy must go n find a swing at 2nd gu gong's place in Bedok.

The major POO

Forgot about this. Damien finally pooed on his own on WEDNESDAY(11/04/07). After 6 days of constipation. Never felt so happy at being woken up before 10am. N boy it really was a big pile of poo. I was so happy I even smsed some friends n family.....kekekek(See I was THAT happy)

On thursday Damien pooed again but dunno is it becos of the papaya I gave him at mum's place becos I also went toilet cos I finish the rest of the piece....hehehe

Today no poo again even though he tried in the morning. Think I will give him the prune juice again tml. N since I am going to be a guai guai mummy. Stay home on saturday n make cod porridge, pear puree and read his new book n play his new toy with him. Hope he also good boy n poo for me lah....hehehe

My brand new LittleTouch

After months of aiming this little touch for my darling Damien. I finally got it in Toys R Us in sg. Wanted to get it in US becos on the website it costs just S$50. N its selling in SG for S$90+. Tried so many means to get others to buy it for me but all turn to nothing. In the end me n hubby decided to jus get it in since there is a promo for it n it only cost like less then S$10 more.

N for the books less then S$5 difference. So rather then paisey troubling ppl n then waiting n waiting dunno if they can get it. Might as well get it in SG myself right.
But I still want to little touch bag that is only available in US leh. Urrr anyone can get for me??......kekekeke

N hor I want COACH from US leh.......hahahahhahaha

My New Toy

Bought this to blend the meat in Damien's porridge becos I really dunno how I am gonna feed him meat. N since his PD recommanded this as she says she uses it as well for her kids n it will blend the meat into very small pieces so they can eat it easier, I jus had to buy it......heheehe
Jus tried using it on pear n it works so nicely. Not as noisy as that stupid blender that I can't even use it for an apple. Btw its Tefal n not Brun which I always thought it was. Now I dun feel so clumsy anymore with this new toy. Its the best YET!!

Now I jus need to go get a thermal pot for his porridge since I have given up on the rice cereal.

Food Containers

Just realised how boliao I am becos this is how I keep Damien's rice cereal in container.

N this is how I used to keep my teabags when I was still pregnant........hehehe.

See the similarities?? Means I am still as bored as when I was pregnant!!

Super Miserable Day

Sigh.......really a very tiring day for Damien n myself. Since he's not been sleeping well these few nights becos of his stubborn stools. I've been suffering with him n I must say. Women gathering n talking too much is also a very tiring but enjoyable affair(hehehe). SO i think all the tiredness have build up to a high today n I was so regreting wanting to go for the flashcard demo.

N talking about the GD demo....I was soooo disappointed as it was mainly a sales talk. Sigh...ofcos I understand they want to do business but at least thought they should sort of show us how they do it n we can at least try it on our bbs n see how they like it before we decide to throw at least $500 on it right???
N they didn't even bring alot of things to show us. We didn't even see exactly how the maths set looks like. (Might as well jus see the advertisment right)
So again regreted going for this as I had to drag poor constipated Damien n myself from our beds.

N while waiting for the bus to go home. I suddenly felt warm around my tummy area n when I look down *horrors* Damien's pee was gushing out of his diapers onto his pillow, carrier n my top. Quickly used his hankerchief to absorb the pee n thought it was the end of it(we missed the bus). When the bus arrived, I stoodup n *WAH* my backside was all wet....sobsob

So off we went home for me to bath Damien n myself before we go over to my mum's place. I was sooooo tired i was ready to slp anytime. Finally took a nap when D napped but boy was my mum "deaf". The phone rang twice during our nap n me in my comatose state had to wakeup groggy n tell my mum to pick the bloody phone up. The 2nd time I even thought I was dreaming as I wokeup stared at mum who was sitting on the floor sorting her things n the phone jus keep ringing. N she always complain I put down the phone too fast everytime I call. (Dahhhh she should pick up the phone faster!!!)

Had dinner went home n had to deal with Damien's constipation quickly as he was already drifting off to dreamland. Madeup my mind not to login tonite but the forum mummies had to be so exciting that I die die had to reply....sigh
So guess I can't blame anyone else right.....hahaha

N worse is hubby had RT so I've not seen him since morning when he kissed me goodbye. Poor Damien also didn't see daddy today again....N hubby still want more bbs?? Dream on.........

Constipation

Poor Damien is having constipation. 2nd time now n his last poo was on Fri before the swim gathering. N it was also using the enema. This time I waited until today which is almost a week before I finally used the dreaded E.
Hmmmm....wonder what else can I do to make him poo other then using the 'E'. Have tried all the methods that I know of n stopped his Hienz rice cereal as its the thing that supposedly triggered the constipation. Have tried apple, prune, pear juice, n puree apple, pear, banana n even fed him papaya. He jus couldn't do it.
Damn the stupid poo is so resistant. N made my nights miserable becos Damien couldn't slp well too. Was even cranky in the day when we went out. My cheerful little baby must be feeling so terrible too.

N I felt so bad when I was on the phone with his PD when she asked me 1 qns. "He didn't poo for so many days isn't he grumpy?" The 1 little qns hit me so hard as it made me think of how Damien was suffering n all his mummy was thinking about is avoiding using the E again. N made it worse for him by dragging n dragging hoping he can do it himself with having to use the E.....sigh
Think I should jus heed his PD's advise n use it for this period as she said this is the transition period for his intestines. Its okie to use as he is not relying on it. Once the period is over he will be fine again. Lets jus hope n pray that this is the last time I need to stick that thing into his butt again.

First Swim

Went to our first swim gathering n Damien had his first dip in the water. Guess what he floats!!
He was quite okie in the pool but when we went to my sis place to bath him. He cried....hahahha

Waterplay at Vivo

Poor daddy didn't get to witness Damien's virgin step into the pool so today we went vivo n let daddy bring him for some water kicking. N I am glad to say Damien enjoys it. See the photos for proof.
